Exciting times everyone. The Palace of Arts in Glasgow is soon to be converted into a specialised Gymnastic centre and so our time here at the Palace has drawn to a close. The good news is that with this loss, a fantastic opportunity has arisen!
We will now be moving to Parklands Hotel and Country Club, Newton Mearns. This is an incredible venue especially kitted out with martial Arts in mind and the first classes will start here on Monday 27th August 2018. But, just when you think things could not get any better, we are now able to provide 2 adult classes per week and 2 Kids classes per week at the new venue at Parklands Hotel and Country Club (Adults: Wednesday 8pm-9pm and Friday 7.45-9pm AND Kids Wednesday 7pm-8pm and Friday 7.00-7.45pm). So, no excuses. Monday Adult only classes (14 years+) will continue at The Palace of Art.
But that's not all, some of you may have noticed some pretty ferocious and highly energised Mini Muay Thai enthusiasts "kicking about" or punching your knees recently. Pro Muay Thai Glasgow will now be offering Kids Muay Thai classes at Parklands Hotel and Country Club on Wednesdays at 7.15pm to 7.45pm and also Fridays at 7pm to 7.45 pm. To make things even better for the taxi drivers (mum and dad) there are facilities onsite to keep you fed and watered in a luxurious setting while your kids train.
Easter holidays and April 2018 will see a small change to training schedule.
The Palace of Art for Glasgow training will be closed for the first two weeks of April so make sure you keep active over this period.
Cancelled classes are as follows:
CLASSESS WILL BE BACK ON MONDAY 16th APRIL - MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE FOR OUR STAR GUEST TRAINER
All other classes are on and whilst Cha is off in Thailand picking up some new skills. Classes start back at the Palace of Arts on Monday 16th April at 8pm.
We are lucky enough for a star appearance by Sophie Gallacher. She is a fantastic fighter (UK Women's Number one at 59 KG!) and a great trainer. Sophie has a different style to Cha so this in a perfect opportunity to expand your training and understanding of Muay Thai.
Make sure you turn up to train with Sophie as this is a great opportunity to learn with one of the best! The only accepted excuse to miss these sessions will be the provision of a valid death certificate!
So far so good for Cha, Shaun and Kris over in Thailand Muay Thai Training Camp. However, it looks like they need to work on their tans more than their skills!
Cha and some of the crew are lucky enough to head off to Thailand for some intense training in April 2018. While they are over there, they will no doubt pick up some new tricks to share with us all on their return. Good luck to them and we all look forward to hearing about it when they get back!
Whilst Cha is over there, he will be placing an order for new club shorts. If you have not got your order in now, get hold of Cha ASAP and tell him your size , colour and style. The below is a proto type for the Camouflage design complete with the Pro Muay Thai club logo. These shorts are set to look really good.
